CliniOps + Buffer: social media publishing for multiple accounts
Busy clinic days can push social media down the list. Keep your clinic visible locally: give community updates an owner and publishing date, review once, then publish or schedule through Buffer.
What works today?
We verified image drafts for Facebook, Instagram and Google Business Profile using fictional content on 11 October 2026. Public posting, scheduling and MP4 live acceptance remain untested.
An owner connects Buffer and appoints publishers. After exact-version review, an appointed publisher can draft, publish or schedule supported content. Each request needs confirmation.

Connect Buffer
First connect your social accounts in Buffer. In CliniOps, the practice owner opens Settings → Connections, connects Buffer, chooses channels and appoints publishers. No personal API key is needed; Buffer account and plan requirements apply.5
Images, videos and post text
Buffer supports text, image and video posts, subject to each channel’s rules.26
Google Business Profile needs one JPEG/PNG and up to 1,500 characters, without phone numbers. Videos are not supported through Buffer for this channel.4

| Content | From CliniOps |
|---|---|
| Image + post text | JPEG/PNG for Facebook, Instagram and Google Business Profile. Live image drafts verified on all three. |
| Video + post text | MP4 for Facebook and Instagram, up to 90 seconds and 100 MB. Live video testing is pending. |
| Text-only | Create directly in Buffer. CliniOps currently requires an image or video.2 |
| Documents | Keep PDFs in CliniOps for review or download; this connector does not send them. |
Before you send
- Confirm the exact file and caption. Buffer fetches a temporary public copy; internal notes stay private.
- Use non-sensitive content only. No patient, clinical or confidential HR material. Ask Clini cannot send automatically.
- If the result is unknown, check Buffer before retrying. Disconnecting does not remove existing drafts or posts.
Fictional example · no real practice data
How it works
A fictional open-day example. This page creates no drafts or posts.
- Prepare
Give the open-day update an owner and publishing date. Add its image and caption in Marketing.
- Review
A designated reviewer marks the exact content Ready.
- Send
An appointed publisher selects channels and an action, checks the exact content and confirms.
- Check
Check each channel’s result before planning the next update. Finish in Buffer when the channel requires it.
Check the result: Draft in Buffer means saved, not published. A scheduled request is not a published post.

Can CliniOps send content to Buffer?
Yes. An appointed publisher can draft, publish or schedule reviewed images for Facebook, Instagram and Google Business Profile, or supported MP4 videos for Facebook and Instagram. Live public posting, scheduling and video acceptance remain untested.
Can I post to multiple social media accounts from CliniOps?
Yes. Choose up to three accounts per request from your connected channels. Confirm the reviewed media, caption and action; results are separate for each channel. Formats and finishing steps depend on the channel.
Can I send text-only posts?
Buffer supports text-only posts. CliniOps currently requires an image or video with the approved post text; create text-only posts directly in Buffer.
Where do I see social media analytics?
In Buffer, for supported channels. Buffer does not provide Google Business Profile analytics. CliniOps shows per-channel delivery status.
Who can publish?
The practice owner connects Buffer, selects channels and appoints publishers. Creating or reviewing content alone does not grant publishing access. Every request requires exact content and destination confirmation.
